What we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.
Last updated 19 September 2026Tone Vault Audio & Media LLC is a Minnesota limited liability company selling audio cables and related products directly to customers. Our mailing address is PO Box 152, Elk River, MN 55330, United States.
In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Tone Vault Audio & Media LLC. "You" means anyone visiting tone-vault.com, buying from us, or contacting us.
We are a small business. We warehouse and ship our own products, and we answer our own email. Your information is handled by the same people who pack your order.
We collect only what we need to sell you a cable, ship it, and honour the warranty on it.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or any special category data such as health or biometric information. We have no use for them and do not want them.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it. See section 5.
We never see or store your full card number. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Your card details go directly to them and are governed by their privacy policy.
What we do receive is the information needed to fulfil and account for an order: your name, billing and shipping address, the last four digits of the card, the card type, and whether the payment succeeded.
We do not share or sell SMS consent data, phone numbers, or text message opt-in information with any third party for marketing purposes. Your consent to receive text messages from Tone Vault Audio & Media is used by us alone.
Where our forms offer it, you may consent to two separate kinds of text message, and each is optional:
These are separate permissions. Agreeing to one does not sign you up for the other, and we keep a record of which you chose.
Consent is never a condition of purchase. You can buy anything we sell without agreeing to receive a single text.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your carrier, not by us. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP or emailing us. We will action it promptly, though you may still receive messages essential to an order already in progress.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are a resident of California, Minnesota, or another state with a consumer privacy law, those laws may give you additional rights — including the right to know what is collected, to delete it, and to opt out of sale. As stated in section 5, we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
One request we cannot fully honour: if you ask us to delete a purchase record while a lifetime warranty on that product is still active, we will tell you that deleting it ends our ability to verify a future claim on that item.
Our site runs over HTTPS, payment card data never touches our systems, and access to customer records is limited to people who need it to do their job.
No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affected your personal information, we would notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Our products are for general sale, but this site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated to you directly where we can.
