The agreement between you and Tone Vault Audio & Media LLC when you buy from us.
Last updated 19 September 2026These terms apply when you use tone-vault.com or buy anything from Tone Vault Audio & Media LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company ("Tone Vault", "we", "us").
By placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not order.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.
You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order. You must provide accurate information, including a deliverable shipping address.
We currently sell and ship within the United States only.
We may refuse or cancel any order — for example where an item is out of stock, where a price or description was wrong, or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.
We describe our products as accurately as we can, including gauge, shielding, connector type and materials. Those specifications are honest and we stand behind them.
Photographs are representative. Colour reproduction varies between screens, and product packaging may change.
Our cables are intended for the uses we describe. In particular, and as stated on our product pages: our microphone and instrument cables must not be used as speaker cables under load between an amplifier and a passive speaker, and must not be used as digital or stage lighting cable. Damage caused by using a product outside its intended purpose is not covered by the warranty.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where applicable.
Where we show a compare-at or "was" price, it refers to the manufacturer's suggested retail price for that product. Discount percentages are calculated from it.
Payment is taken at the time of order through our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.
If a product is listed at a clearly incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honour the error. We will tell you if that happens.
Discount codes may carry their own conditions, including expiry dates and one-per-customer limits. They cannot be applied retroactively to an order already placed.
Those times are estimates, not guarantees. Once a parcel is with the carrier its progress is outside our control, and we are not liable for carrier delays.
Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, or tracking shows delivered and it did not arrive, contact us and we will help you resolve it with the carrier.
You may return any product within 30 days of purchase, for any reason.
To qualify, the item must be in resaleable condition with its original packaging. Email [email protected] before sending anything back and we will send you a prepaid return label.
A return is not the same as a warranty claim. A return is within 30 days for any reason. A warranty claim is for a cable that failed, and that coverage lasts far longer — see section 7.
Coverage depends on the product line:
Failure of the cable in normal use — the conductor, shielding, connectors or solder joints failing through ordinary studio and stage work. We will repair or replace the product at our discretion, and we cover shipping both ways.
File a claim at tone-vault.com/warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary by state.
Please do not use this site to break the law, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or submit false or fraudulent orders and claims.
We may refuse service to anyone who does.
The content of this site — text, photography, layout and design — belongs to Tone Vault Audio & Media LLC. The Tone Vault Audio & Media name and logo, and Tone Shield™, are our trademarks.
You may not reproduce our product photography or copy for commercial purposes without written permission. Authorised dealers may use our materials to sell our products.
We stand behind our products, and section 7 sets out exactly what we will do if one fails.
Beyond that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product or this site is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example lost income from a cancelled session or performance — arising from a product failure or from this site being unavailable.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the date of your order, so the date at the top of this page matters.
